The Phantom Circus has collected some of the best circus performers in the state of Colorado, combining creativity and artistry with the fervent and savvy energy of a start-up.  We have a production team in house that can handle custom costuming, metal fabrication, and rigging and tech, creating a one-stop shop that can design and execute your wildest imaginings top to bottom.

Our performers are well-trained (most at elite circus schools), experienced, and excellent people to be around.

Our business practices are less nutty-professor and more akin to a start up.  We consider ourselves entrepreneurs as well as artists, and we’ll happily and competently guide you through the pitfalls of your project.

Our rigging, equipment, and fabrication teams are competent and knowledgeable.  Circus can be dangerous, but you’re in safe hands.  If you have an outdoor event or an indoor location with no suitable aerial rig points, we have a free-standing aerial rig that can range from 14 to 18.5 feet tall as well as lollipop lyra rigs.

 

Our performers consist of:

Emcee/Ringmasters; Aerialists (trained in fabric, trapeze, lyra (hoop), rope, rope & harness, handloop, Spanish web, sling, bungee, dancing on the sides of buildings, invented apparatus); hula hoopers; fire performers (fire eaters, fire breathers, fire spinners, fire dancers); dancers; tribal style belly dancers; acrobalancers; hand balancers; contortionists; jugglers; pole dancers; Chinese pole acrobats; acrobats and trickers; stilt walkers (who can perform walkarounds, ballet dances, partner acrobatics and ground acrobatics); cyr wheel artists; strolling tables; and fortune tellers.

If you have something we don’t have in-house, we have excellent professional friends that do.  We’ll find them for you.

We are by default 100% family friendly.  However, if you would like your event to appeal to an edgier, adult demographic, we have experience with that, too.

 

The services we perform for events fall into three categories:

  • FEATURED PERFORMANCE:  Audiences sit and enjoy a proper show, which can range in length from one 5-minute act to a 2-hour full-length show.  The acts are dynamic, athletic, and will hold your patron’s rapt attention.  We can bring one of our signature circus shows, or create an entire themed performance based on your needs.
  • BARTENDING SERVICES: Imagine your guests walking into a ballroom greeted with the sight of aerialists hanging from a chandelier pouring champagne.  A stilt-walker wanders by and pours a signature cocktail.  A contortionist performs on a table and hands out wine glasses.  The Phantom Circus carries liquor liability insurance and our performers are TIPS certified.
  • AMBIENT ENTERTAINMENT: If your guests want to keep networking, talking, or participate in other endeavors, circus can make a stunning backdrop to your event.  Aerialists hold beautiful poses in the air, and flow gracefully on their apparatus for up to 20 minutes at a time.  Stilt walkers pose for pictures.  Ground performers dot the landscape while your guests wander the event.
